About Integrity Hospice

Integrity Hospice was started almost a decade ago  by four local Georgians with more than a centuries worth of experience in end-of-life care. Our administrative team members each contribute a wealth of knowledge, experience and unique insights toward the end-of-life care experience provided by our organization. During an era in medicine, especially hospice, where so many providers are "GIANTS" and seemingly focused only on the bottom line, we are proud to be known for love, compassion, and dignity we bring to every home. We understand that people don't have to live in pain and misery, that goodbyes are important, that friendships and laughter are good medicine, and that often what's most needed is to hold someone's hand.

Our program is Certified by Medicare and Medicaid and is licensed by the State of Georgia, We are members of The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations, The Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association and are participating members in many of the local Chamber of Commerce within our service area. Our Medical Director is board Certified in Geriatrics and Family Practice, is a Certified Medical Director, as well as being a member of the American Medical Directors Association.

Our team works with patients, caregivers, and the medical community to develop the optimal course of care for each individual based upon their unique wishes, needs, and beliefs. Our providers are available at any time to discuss the latest approaches to pain management and symptom control and to help you determine if hospice can benefit your family.

Educational visits are always free of charge and available by request at a location and time convenient for you and your loved ones.

Things to Consider when choose a hospice company.
1. Is the company managed by local clinicians vs name less investors?
2. Hospice certified nurses and doctors on staff 24 hours per day?
3. Does their patient to staff ratios exceed industry standards?
4. Do they offer respite and inpatient care?
5. Do they offer care in nursing homes and assisted living residence?
6. Are they approved providers for Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance?
